About Peoples Medical Hospital

 People’s medical hospital was established in 2004 in Gayaza Bulamu by Dr Ndugga Frank. The hospital started as a clinic with a total of about ten staffs. On the 28^th of February 2019 it was commissioned to a hospital by the ministry of health. Over the past years the hospital has grown and now services patients with general ailments alongside specialized medical and surgical interventions the hospital operates at two wings: the out patients and inpatient wing, and the annex wing.

In March 2021 the construction of a six floor storage building kicked off in Gayaza 10miles. And as of now four floors are in use offering services like; general medical services, fully stocked laboratory, well equipped radiography services, ENT services, the dermatology services, eye clinic, dental clinic, maternity services, minor and major theatre services with a number of specialist like pediatricians, cardiologists among others.

Out patient management receives attendance of over 80 people per day and the inpatient capacity facilitates over 75 beds. 

The hospital has also partnered with various insurance companies like prudential, Sanlam, UAP, AAP, jubilee among others to ensure that services are provided to client that belong to those insurance groups. There are other schemes that the hospital partner with in including rotary and rotaract clubs like the rotary club of Gayaza, RCT Gayaza among others.

Earlier at the beginning of 2025, around February2025, a new facility was established in Gayaza Bulamu (an area known as 10 miles). The new facility is a six floor storage building with four floors in use. The new facility is fully equipped with much better and improved services and more medical team to serve the clients.
